A hazard is something that has the potential to cause harm. We want to know about these so we can keep people safe.
A near miss is where occured but no injury to a person has happened.
An Incedent is where something has occured where a person has been impacted or injured.

Where a hazard is identified, the C3HB Safechurch team will decide upon control measures to eliminate or reduce the risk (Hierarchy of Controls: Eliminate / Substitute / Isolate / Engineering controls / Administrative controls / PPE).
